Studies of the η meson decays with WASA

Studies of η meson decays with the WASA detector are a major goal of the experimental program at COSY-Jülich. In 2008 a sample of 10 7 η mesons was collected in pd → 3 He η reaction close to threshold without trigger bias on the decay channels. The Wide Angle Shower Apparatus (WASA) has been transferred from the storage ring CELSIUS (TSL, Uppsala, Sweden) to the cooler synchrotron COSY (FZ Jülich, Germany).
